i am deciding on either converting my xtra to an lp setup or buying a boom stick, what do you suggest

neither. the xtra comes with a lp chamber. the stock barrel on my brothers xtra shoots almost as good as my boomer with the right paint. it is small bore so get direct hit paint fro paintballgeek.com. its only 40 and its really nice with spyder xtra stock

between the 2 definelty a barrel. Changing your marker to LP will not do much for you. Getting a better barrel will give you a lot better preformance for a better price.
