yeah I had the same problem, make sure you turn the pressure on the max down BEFORE you hook up your air source. then slowly turn the pressure up to 180psi for a stock impy.

i had that same problem! you just need to use the o-ring trick which can be found on the faq page. What is happening is that the pin on the max-flo is too long so it opens the tank too soon so the o-ring can not seat and seal properly.

Well i foudn the same problem with my max flo i found out the max flo is to close to teh grip so that the tank wont go all the way in so air sprays out... i fixed the problem when my shocktech drop came in. now its working like a charm

I thought smart parts fixed it so that the o-ring trick isn't required on the newer imps. Is this wrong?

actionvillage probably has the older impulses because the newer ones come with gadget grips and those dont

Yes and no. The Manifold was re-designed to be lighter and not require an extra o-ring to work, however, not all HPA & CO2 tanks are made the same so some tanks might still require an extra o-ring.

obviously i MUST say EPBO because i love them soooo very much (not that way you sick weirdos:eyes: ) for getting me my imp....their stock imp isnt as cheap as first call or actionvillage but their CUSTOMER SERVICE is great (IMO) so i think the extra 25 bucks makes up for that

If you buy an on/off valve for your tank, all you gota do is screw in the tank and open the valve slowly. It is easier than attaching your hopper. Definately get an on/off.
