question about impulses and shockers

ok this is long so bear with me. i thought it out and im gonna sell my automag and get a turbo impulse. i am wondering if shockers are much better? what do they do? also what does the turbo do? how fast will i be able to go? also on the regulator on them (the little thing were u screw in the tank) can u lower the pressure in that or do u need a adjustable pressure tank?

Impulses are open bolt and shockers are closed bolt. I read that turbo mode is limited to 11.2 b.p.s. on Shockers (that's 56 balls every 5 seconds). I would assume that it's the same for Impulses. They both come with the same maxflo regulator. It is adjustable and works really well.
