i just got back from playing yesterday and i used my neighbors 14" ceramic, it was the best barrel i have ever used, it was puting one ball on top of an other. from 25yrds i had a spred of 12' it ruled. i shot BE paint(b/c of a lack of good paint a Evil Mart) and it worked very well, it shot through breaks in 3 shots. i dont know if i like it so much b/c i have the flatline but i have another friend w/ a JandJ ceramic on his spyder and he shoots PMI from k mart and it does the same thing. and the best part about the barrel is that it is around $50.

if you use BE paint you better use a ceramic cause if you dont your gonna be dead from having a paint coating inside your barrel.

Um, what's the question here? Is it "Should you trade your Flatline for the Ceramic?" If so, yes, It's a nice barrel. Especially if your going to be using cheap BE paint. That reminds me...go to www.brasseagle.com and look at the reviews for their paintballs. Guaranteed to make you laugh! Hope that helped

I got a Ceramic for $40. For some reason it seems to be an "idea" barrel. It looks ALOT different than other Ceramics, it has the porting that I had on my 2 piece, and the JJ logo is different, and not colored in any way. I think it is like a Demo barrel. I got it from Jimmy Wood of Team Static. I would think he would be the one to have a demo barrel, considering he designs alot of stuff. Like the bolt thingy in the Merlin, or Excaliber, wait, ti was the Merlin. Yeah. He also makes autococker bolts.
