I have placed this poll here to let people bash BE and to make fun of BE and their <BADNESS>

Let's analyze these results shall we? From this scientific survey, 1/2 of the people would take a BE gun. 1/6 would rather just throw paint, which I suppose is their right. And 1/3 apparently would rather go unarmed. I'm willing to go 3 on 1. A paint-thrower, a paint-blower, and an unarmed person vs. Me and my Stingray. Any takers?

making fun of Brass Eagle..how newbie-ish. Any experienced or mature player will know that BE does not aim for the Higher level guns. Their purpose is to introduce players to paintball, not have guns that will compete in the NPPL. In fact, without Brass Eagle, i bet that alot of players here now wouldn't be playing. True, a spyder isn't expensive, but to a player who just started out, 100 dolars is alot to cough up. Plus, i will admit that Brass Eagle is making decent guns now. No i'm not talking about the STingray, which is durable as hell, or the Talon. I'm talking about newer guns like the Avenger. THe rainmaker, i've shot a few, and they are actually pretty sweet.
As for BE Paint, no it is not the best, but when fresh, not the stuff you bought at Walmart, which has been sitting on the shelf for 2 months, but the stuff you buy at a pro shop, is actually decent. They didn't compare to marbs, but they were all right. So if you don't like BE, don't say anything, cuz of course they are not gonna compare to stuff like Cockers...but i've seen some sweet raptors and rainmakers..The bottom line is that Brass Eagle is not aiming to compete with other paintball guns, but to introduce new players to paintball. Look at how the Stingray is constructed. No it is not that accurate, nor is it quiet. But you just can't break the damn thing..and when you are brand new to paintball, you're just worried about not breaking the gun, not how quiet it is, or how far it will shoot. So bashing Brass Eagle, IMO, is just ignorant. Just my view on things..

Personally, I have nothing against Brass Eagle. I do believe that we take for granted what Brass Eagle has done for our sport though. I'm most certain that it's because of them (not totally, but partially) that we have the paintball following that we do now. As someone pointed out, Brass Eagle is not targeting NPPL players as their primary market for sales. They are targeting the newer player, who if it wasn't for Brass Eagle, couldn't afford to play. Brass Eagle gets a big thumbs up from me.

back in 1999 brass eagle had the silver eagle costing 329 bucks, and there was a auto mag 68 which is the same marker with a barrel for 429.Brass eagle back thn was a better rated marker. but most of you would remender back then that much cause hmmm 12 years ago that was.
So as you bash this company for what there trying too do for this sport like getting people started into paintball with out taking everything you make to buy a marker. then head on.
I myself wont lower myself too bashing them.I wonder how many of you got a BE marker right now and wont cop too it.
As far as there paint goes not the best thing around,But then some people can't aford 60 bucks a case for paint. Also 6 bucks at wal-mart wont hurt the guy throwing papers everyday to make money.
I played agaist people shoot brass eagle paint and been hit my it at a locale field. So its like this Back off this crap.

I feel happy that I never owned a marker made by brass, but I have to buy their paintballs (no other places!!) and I'm grateful that they give me something just to shoot. Just don't get hit by them, cause the way they feel will haunt you. Bleh.

I started with a tippmann prolite (i lost it and it was to slow)got a bruser outlaw (couldn't hit a barn with it)got a model 98 with a flatline (to damn long and still missed the barn)went to a PMI Piranha (now i hit the barn between broke balls and leeking gas)then a Kingman Spyder with a Lapco Bigshot (now I hit the barn 1 out of 2 shots between broke balls ,with a crappy trigger and grip)I was not going to spend $1000 or even $500 for a gun just to play recball so ended up with a Brass Eagle Rainmaker (it can hit the barn every time at a fast rate with no broke balls along with a lite trigger and a man size grip)so it looks like I can play and have fun (with out a title loan). Thanks Brass Eagle

This here is America and we can bash any gol dern thing we want to! It is our civic duty to berate and belittle somethng that we think is crap! ITS THE AMERICAN WAY!

Plus all this whineing about how bad I doubt BE really gives a flying rat a$$! So who cares what people say?

I guess my point is.. "Opinions are like a$$holes... everyone has one and they all stink!"

thank you

I've noticed that Dan hasn't come back to defend his poll ... Oh Well. Most of y'all have said what I would say, so I won't repeat your statements. I'd like to add though that just becaus BE has purchased Viewloader and JT, it doesn't mean that the products coming from those companies will be lower quality. I think most of us have been very impressed with the JT Proteous vision system. And JT Spectra systems still seem to be the mainstay of most most players. Along with VL 12 and 18 volt Revvies. I'm willing to be my earnings for the next year that I could place a Pre and Post BE JT mask or VL loader on a table and no one, I mean no one would be able to tell the difference.

Anyway, just my 2 cents worth.

Is BE low quality...of course. But as someone else already pointed out, it is the cheap, almost "disposable" markers that they make that many people start out with. How many people that have never played golf before are gonna go out and pay 2000 dollars for a set of clubs for their first game? And yet nobody harrasses them because that's how you get introduced to a game and learn whether you like it or not. Yet, when we're talking about paintball, we almost consider it a sin if someone's using BE equipment. Not to mention the fact that many people that have never played paintball and decide to give it a try just head on down to good ol Wal-Mart because they "saw some paintball stuff there". I started out with BE about 2 years ago. I played with a stingray for about 5 months. I don't regret it at all. If we go back to the golf analogy...if Tiger Woods showed up to give you some free lessons, the first thing he's gonna tell you is "practice technique", not "you need to spend more money". And after he takes you to school on the golf course are you really gonna claim that it was only because he had better equipment?

Hey, if you were really good you could sneak up behind someone and get em if you had a brass eagle, I mean some of them like the avenger arnt extremely horrible, but you do still have the label BE on your gun
