Ok, for starters do you think it would be worth it to get a remote setup to help prevent freezing (my x-chamber wasnt enough)
How much extra gas does this thing use?? I shot through a 16 oz in about 300 shots (I overheard the guy at the shop saying, "if anything I underfilled it", so that might have been the reason...cheap *******s)
Is co2 ok for it as long as it is expanded
how and where does that extra plug go that it comes with??? All the other bolts that screw into the powertube and the piston are too long for that little nut to fit.
Would anti siphon tubes help???
ANYCOMMENTS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRICIATED!!!
thanks

Really it just sounds like it wasn't filled all the way. Or instead of a clean fill, whoever filled it may have just tried to dump into whatever remaining co2 was already in the tank. That won't work. It must be dumped before filling. Anyhow, you should get more than 300 with an x-chamber out of a 16 oz. What was the temp outside? If it was below 60 that can make a big difference. I wouldn't count on a remote helping too much when used with an x-chamber. They work pretty good WITHOUT an x-chamber, but no notable improvement with one. Just make sure whoever fills your tank dumps it first, and uses a scale to be sure YOU know they filled it. Hope some of this helped a little.

I use a standard tippmann expansion chamber, so a reamote will help a little (small chamber) Anyway, you are probably right, the guy there didnt know what he was doing and had to get the store owner to help him (1st day maybe) Buy, they use a $200 digital fishing scale to weigh it. I have been getting my tanks filled there since day one without problems. Ill look dumb with a reamote and a cradle :), but I have used one of my friends before and it really did help with the liquid. Also, it was about 60 degrees outside, but that doesnt account for only 300 shots!!! What do you thing???

the rt opperates off blowback gas, and takes no extra from your tank

Thats great that is doesnt use any extra gas. I think I may be getting a palmer stabilizer to keep a constant pressure and It supposedly prevents liquid entry better than an x-chamber. So that sounded good to me (also help that recocking problem when the velocity does the exact opposite of spiking, not delivering enought pressure to recock the gun) :P

1. Its gunna freeze up no matter what you do if you set it at a high ROF or get trigger happy so that really isnt going to matter.
2. Doesnt use gas out of the tank, uses leftover blow-back gas after a shot (im betting he didnt fill it totally, with an X-chamber you should get way over 300 shots with a 16oz)
3. The RT kit was originally made to be used with CO2. So no matter if liquid or expanded CO2 gets in, its still going to work.
4. The extra plug is there to turn off the RT when you cant use it. You take out the screw the goes into the powertube and put the small one in its place ( dont try and put it through the RT hose adaptor, its to short to fit, It screws directly into the powertube opening)
5. An anti-siphon tube only helps by keeping liquid CO2 from gettin into your gun and since you have an X-chamber, you really have no need for one ( like I said, at high ROF the RT fittings will freeze up anyway)
Hope this helped you atleast somewhat. Oh and heres a tip, wear a golve on your trigger finger hand. Its not very funny gettin frostbite from having a piece of metal froze to your skin (trust me, I would know)

thanks a lot for all the answers. Iam too cheap to get a nitro setup and the lp thingy, so, I think Iam going with a palmer stabilizer, b/c my friend does use one on his cocker, for the core purpose of keeping co2 outta his gun (he is short on cash for nitro as well) Anyway, thens for all the answeres.
Also, when you disconnect the rt, do you take both connections out? (the adjuster and the thing that screws into the power tube)

No, just the screw that screws into the powertube

one problem, hpa is already in a gas form so a remote will do nothing for the air to expand, the low pressure kit is a good idea those.

An antisyphon tube will help you alot. If your shooting snow (little white specs) then you definantly want to get one and it will probably solve all your problems.

From here on out, its gonna be over 90 degrees outside, so my co2 bottle wont freeze up no more. (in the winter here, it only goes down to about 60-70)
