 I have my blue cocker now. I am going to get a cp barrel. I want the accuracy of a 12in. but i want the 10 in. is the 10 in. just as accurate as the 12 in.?? also, what color would match a blue vert feed cocker??

Thanx and please no sarcastic comments

longer barrels dont give you better accuracy, so the 10" will be fine.

according to the magic of science...the best size for range and lower velocity is a 16...most ro's think the longets u should get is a 14, andne one who's a front man will thell ya 12 or under
get a 10...it won't help 2 much to get a 12
and blue....that would match

Bah, that's shocker logic! lol. The reason they put a 16" on the shocker is because the All American is a step bore and needs the larger back half for lower presure, the rest is just extra metal.

What you need for the bst efficiency is a barrel with 8" of non ported barrel at the back. But since I don't realy care about it that much I get what I like. I would say 12" is great, but realy 10" shoots the same. 10-14 is bassically the same, 16 and on is just to long and doen't help.

How do you figure?

i would get a 10 incher, you will have no increase in accuracy to a 12.

but anything past 12 becoms more ineffecient and less accurate. the thing that causes inaccuracy in barrels (asides a bad paint barrel match), is irregularities in the barrel, since every barrel has irregularities, you can minimize this by getting a shorter barrel, the longer you get it the more irregularities, so less accuracy.

I personally think the 10" would be the way to go. I think that the 12" would be more accurate, but not noticanly, especially while playing. And since I figure you're playing speedball (most woods guys like longer barrels, while speedballers lean towards shorter ones), you'd likely be close enough where any differences wouldn't matter anyhow.
