leaking problem!!!!!!

i have an older style impy, serial # 5????, but i just bought it. when i gas it up there is a leak that comes from the hole in the bottom of the body, where the hammer assembly is. when i took out the hammer and took off the solenoid, i could feel the leak come out of the hole right in front of/above the solenoid where the hammer would be.
please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
