I am ready to purchase a mulitple barrel system for my 2002 Blue Autococker. I am narrowed it down to the Smart Part Freak system and the Equation Multi-Switch system.
The Freak system I have heard great things about. I do have a few questions about it though.
1. Everbody recommends getting the Stainless Steel back (costs a extra $20), but what is the point of getting it, if the inserts are made out of aluminum?
2. Since the inserts are aluminum, have many people had problems with them bending or giving them problems?
3. Is this system going to be as accurate as say a Boomstick with good paint match?
Now the Equation multi switch system seems to have all the benefits of the Freak system and a few advantages. Stainless Steel inserts, removable middle piece to make a nice speedball barrel, more exact diamaters and tolerances. My questions for anybody that know is this.
4. Does the Stainless steel inserts really make that big of a difference?
5. How is the accuracy of this system compare to other systems or barrels?
6. The only complaint i have heard from people is that some of the inserts tend to have rough edges which causes paintballs to burst or not fly straight. Anyone seen or heard of this problem? Hopefully it will be fixed or looked at.
I just can't decide between the two systems. The Freak system has such a great reputation and has been proven to be a great system. On the other hand the Equation system "In Theory" could out preform the FreakI still have not heard many people or professional reveiws talking about this system.
I will either buy one of these packages.
Freak system w/ Stainless Steel Back (everybody says SS is a must have) and Blue 12" All American Front and all the inserts. I have found it for $179.99 +$20 for SS and +$10 for Blue.
OR
Equation Multi Switch system.
with Black Autococker concave adapter, Black Dragon extension and Blue Sniper muzzle. It also includes 6 inserts. I found it for $175.00

Thanks in advance for all the help. This forum is incredible source of knowledge and information and has helped me make some very informative decisions.
