View Full Version : i think I just screwed up
I just ordered a lapco autospirit which is small bore and I shoot big ball paint, should that be a good match? The paint bore size was listed as slightly bigger than the barrel bore size. If ya'll could get back to me I could still cancel the order. Thanks. please reply as soon as possible.

NOOO you gotta use small bore paints. the Autospirit is REALLy picky on paints. Go for slam ball, Allstar, Marbs, hellfire, 32* Team Colors.

tlplus can prob check me on this, but i am pretty sure its better to go a little small than a little big. that why the tiny direct hit paint works well. by amargio is prob gonna reply saying its the new shell or it works great in every situation ever ever ever ever...j/k...love the paint dude!

yea. If you notice, most tourney paints are small bore. Marbs, all star, Hellfire, Proball(yes i know it sux), DIrect hit(very kick butt paint), Slam Ball, El Tigre, etc etc. They are all tourny paints that should work nicely with your Autospirit.
hold on a sec though, I though big ball was a small-medium bore paint and a marb was a medium bore paint
at http://www.pbgear.com it says big ball ranges from .687-.691 and all star ranges from .688-.690
marbs were .687-.690
so wouldn't big ball be just as small as a marb or all star?
just as a follow up to the last one, the auto spirit is .686, maybe I should stop that order and get a big shot, problem is that I'd have to go somewhere else because bbtpaintball says they will not get another big shot in for about 4 weeks. Do you think that this would be the best thing to do?
