Angels and spyders...

My friend keeps telling me that angels hurt MORE than a spyder. He says thats the main reason why people buy it. I say that they feel exactly the same, since they both SHOULD run at 280 fps. Now, I think people buy angels because they are quiet, fast, and accurate. Am I wrong?

Also people by Angels because of the reliability and lifetime warranty. You just don't get a lifetime warranty with other guns.

thats like this freshman in my science class saying nitro hurts more. he said that this guy he knew had a nitro set in a backpack (remote) and an expansion chamber for a belt(harness) of course when i explained to him that nitro doesnt need an ex chamber he didnt listen. i mean theoretically air can be compressed more than co2 cause co2 turns into a liquid, but at those pressures either the gun or the paintball would explode. he says they can go through ply wood. of course explaining that liquid doesnt go through plywood all to well fell on deaf ears. damn squids thinking theyknow anything. why wont they listen to those with experience?

LOL :laugh: There is a difference though the 900 dollars does buy you a better gun but not the way your friend thinks.

I've been bunker by everything almost everthing out there. From things on nitro to CO2. And they all leave the same sized welts. It just amazes me how some people think.

I've had chrono check called on me countless times, usually on days when I'm shooting around 265. It seems that if a guy is two bunkers away, and I'm still hitting him, I must be shooting hot, right? :rolleyes:

There may be some truth to the angel vs. spyder idea: when the spyder hits you tiwce, the angel hits you six times... it doesn't hurt more, it just hits you more. And that hurts more. :crazy:

Just walk up to your friend and ask him, tell me what hurts more, then, spray him with an angel, and pop him a few times with a spyder... even though they should feel the same, in your friends angel-biased opinion I'm sure he'll say the angel hurts more. Heck, you could drop the fps on the angel, shoot him, and the angel would hurt more...

what is wrong with you guys? If a gun costs more and looks pretty, not only will it shoot better, it will hurt over twice as much as a spyder.
for example, take a stock piranha and take a rat impy. both chrono at 280 fps. both shoot Big Ball. both will hurt the same, right? WRONG! the rat will hurt many times more than the piranha because not only does it cost more, but it looks prettier.
