If your saying no to not using it if everyone has too then you must not have any good skills to even be in one.
I play a tournament once where we all had to use raptors too. That was one of the funnest days playing.Cause everyone one had the same marker. So it was luck or skill to win.

Looks like you're asking 2 questions, what would you do, and would you.

Would I use the paint in a tourney given the chocie - Of course not

If I had no choice- Bring a squeegee, my gun is very forgiving on bad paint anyway, I've used brass eagle top brass before without breaking. Paint sucks though

Heh, mayber with a FREAK and .693 insert, but not unless it's fresh like no other

I dont like the BE paint. I havent had any break in my gun before, but I have 5 foot shot groups at 20-25 feet. geez. I had clear shots at people for 3-5 seconds. Not one ball hit. so... That would be a tough tournament to play.

not very sportsmanlike not competeing in a tourny just because of the paint, the only excuse would be that it really messes up your gun... this is coming from a newbie perspective though

I would, because it would still be fun, but I would only use it if I had to. If I had a choice, of course not.

I would play in the tourny. It would be fun. But after a while when i figure out that i can't hit anything within 10 yards of me cause of the stupid paint, i would just start throwing the paint at people. Yup with my bare hands. They might not break as often, but i bet they will be more acurate. lol Later

That actually would be pretty funny seeing Angels and Autocockers spewing BE. I wouldn't want to be responsible for the ensuing riot though, you know how some tourney teams get.

smuggeling in paint is hard, but you can smuggle in about a hopper at best.

I would just get the BE paint right from the factory and spend the night before the tourney "judging" each paint ball! Used to do it before pump tourneys anyways! Roll them and ring them! then ya I would use the paint!

The place I play at (the only one near me) literaly discuses brass eagle paintballs in proball cases, and sell them at $50 for 1000! I only play in my backyard with my friends now (my frend has a huge woods areia in his backyard)

The only reason i would play is because it would be fun to be able to walk out in the open and not gfet hit by a single ball!! But on the downside you would probally spent most of the time squgging out your barrel, plus you would go throught thousands of paintballs just trying to hit one person.
