To test this, borrow, or go to a field. Tell them you are doing a test and will turn it down immediately after. Try whatever you can to fire a paintball at a high velocity without destroying the paintball and or the marker. my records are this.
Spyder Classic w/ Broken Velocity Adjuster : 380
Phantom Pump : 400
Automag : 450
Automag #2 : 420
Do not play with these speeds AT ALL. These speeds are VERY unsafe to play with, but are not bad for shooting a tree 50 feet away that already has 1000 paintball marks on it. Do not guess how fast you are shooting, use a chronograph.
Do not play how my friends guessed their velocity. One of the newer palyers now looks like this guy :freak: His one eye swelled up huge and he sold his gun the day after. I was nice enough to buy a chrono and all of us shoot under 250 (CQF) Anyway, thx and play it safe.
