Well, as you al may know, Auto mags are not as popular as they once were, but recently at the field, i saw 3/4 of the walk ons with AGD equipment. Do you think mags are making a come back?

I think with the release of the E-Mag and Warp Feed AGD has started to come back into the mainstream. For the past fue years ADG has been working on training systems for the military and law enforcement. They have now turned back to the sport. Also, AGD is planning on releasing a jersey as well as many new products.

Mags never went out of style... They did take all the lime-light because of all the new markers coming out. Automags have always been good and like Cocker - just keep getting better... The new Emags have just put AGD into the spotlight again.

I dunno, the emag may be too little too late. For the price, all you're getting is an RT mag with an electro trigger. pnuematically it's still the same. Not to say they didnt do a great job, but the price is a bit over the top IMO. I'd like to see em come back though, mags are some of the best, most reliable mechanical guns, and Tom Kaye has done alot for our sport (without him we'd have no CA, and with no CA, firepower would be a pump with an autotrigger). So yeah, I hope they come back

I think there are a several reasons you are seeing more Automags.

1) People are upgrading to the new lower-priced Electro guns. Mags that were in a closet as a back-up are now being sold to get $$$ for markers like a Impulse or Bushmaster.

2) People are buying NEW Mags because they don't trust an Electronic gun and want something SUPER reliable. Not an "anti-electro" movement per-se but simply the thought process of a person who dosen't want to mess with batteries and curcuit boards and wants a gun that will always work.
