I purchased a Spyder Extra, 20oz. Co2, JT Elite nVader Thermal, VL-200, Jerk Squeegie today. Had to make a decision as my son's birthday is a week away. Now I want to purchase a barrel so this setup will place a ball on its target. I have read but it really seems like once bought most will say the barrel works, nobody really wants to say I got took in the ***, so I am open for ideas.

if u want accurcy get a lapco big shot or auto spirit 50$(depending on bore size) or if u want accuracy and quietness get a J&J ceramic for 45$ at http://www.bbtpaintball.com
get a barrel that matches the paint size he'll be useing for info on it look here http://www.angelfire.com/ca5/ibh/piranha/barrelchart.html
PS all barrels shoot the same distanse and length doesnt affect distance or accuarcy

If u want to spend around $50 for a barrel, get a Lapco Bigshot, a J&J ceramics, or a Custom Products Barrel. All are very acurate with the J&J being the most quiet, but the Lapco being the most acurate. If u want to spend more than that u can get a Smart Parts All American for around $80.

How about 32 Degrees Terminator? The reviews are outstanding and the price is right.

nah, i looked into them, but try to stay away. seriously buy a lapco. my friend has one and they are extremely accurate. even my local shop owner tells his customers that he thinks that lapco bigshot is better than the boomsticks he sells.

Personally, I think you should let him play with it stock for a few games so he can get used to the barrel's crappiness. Then say you'll buy him a new barrel, that way he'll know his new barrel is good because he can compare it to the old one instead of him not knowing the accuracy of the new one is better and thinking a dye boomstick or something will make it better.

a terminator is a good barrel but a lapco is just plain more accurate and a ceramic is aslo more accurate and is quieter and is self cleaning, but the most important is the paint to barrel match, i sugest find out wat paint he'll use then look at the chart i gave u and then dcide but if he is useing watver paint he wants any of those barrels will be fine, and if 40$ is all u want to spend the terrmintor is a great barrel but i think the custom prodcuts barrel is the same price sa the terrimatot, may be rong but the cp barrel is a little better then the terrmiator, and comes it losta colours but the best barrel IMO is the lapco, poeple conpare em to boom sticks(the best barrel)
