that sounds like a cool the to be learning... you know with all the people getting computer jobs, soon they will have to have commercials trying to get people to be loggers and mill people and such,

I forgot to mention that I have a 20 year old son who's a Sophmore at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology. He has a double major of Computer Science and Mathematics. (Gotta brag.... he has a full scholarship and is carrying a 3.95 GPA!!)

I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1992. I've got a BS (no, it's doesn't stand for BullSh*t) in journalism and minored in anthropology.

UWF is a cool school. The classes are small. I think my english comp classes had around 20 people in them. The biggest classes I have had were Economics (macro/micro), environmental studies, and human dev...which all had around 75 people in it. The teachers are cool and the campus is big with lots of trees. check out http://www.uwf.edu
I just happened to go to school here. This is my home town and when I got out of the army this is where I decided to settle. I am disabled from the military so I am getting 100% of my school paid, all books paid, $40 credit at the book store each semester for supplies, and they pay me a decent amount of money to live on each month... oh yeah, the VA also bought me a kickass PIII PC. (no this isn't the GI Bill) It's pretty cool cause when I run out of ink in my printer I just call up my counselor and they get me new carteridges. Granted I live with back pain every day, the deal isn't too bad :)

With back injuries you can still play paintball fine. Granted I am in pain crouching all the time, but I play the same as i used to. I have had a minor back injuries for the last 2 months or so.

yank my benefits? Whatever! There is a big difference between playing paintball and other things that cause my back pain. First of all they can't yank benefits for a ligitimate problem. Just becasue I play paintball doesn't mean I don't spend 75% of my day in pain. Actually it hurts more to do dishes than play paintball. With my back injury (actually it is a neck injury on C7) it hurts more to stand for extended periods of time. I use to race mt bikes and ride over 150 miles per week until I got hurt, now I can't ride 6 miles without being in extreme pain. The good thing about our wonderful sport of paintball is that it doesn't matter how old you are, how many legs you have, how fat you are, or if you are disabled. Paintball games are so short and really require minimal impact and movement as compared to ther popular sports (mt biking, football, soccer, hockey, etc). Have you ever seen the guy from the Paraplegic Turtles that has one leg? He plays a damn good game, and just because he has a good time in a healthy sport doesn't mean he is scamming to get his bennies. Sorry if I took this too personal but this isn't the first time I have heard that. :)
