Hey i was playing yesterday at my local feild and i went to crono my gun and couldn't get over 150-160.
So i took my whole gun back to stock and got great velocity, took aff my stock flatline and remote. I think it was the stock though.

Help me plz.:(

what kind of car stock are you using?

the collapsable pro-team stock which i ordered from 888paintball.com

That rules out the possibility of RVA problems....

I dont see how it could possibly be the stock, assuming that it is set in the proper grooves in the back of the casing...

In order for it to affect your velocity, i'd think it would have something to do with your Air system. Maybe your CO2 was having problems expanding due to your remote or something... is it opened all the way? U have a full tank and all that?

Only other thing i can think of is you weren't holding the barrel over the Chronograph properly... and it wasn't getting a good reading.

I've never used a stock so I'm not sure how they 'fit' into the back of the gun. But my understanding is that the fit into the grooves where the end cap is at the back of the gun. So, it's possible for your velocity to be too low if the stock wasn't putting enough pressure on the spring. Is there a velocity adjuster on the stock? you said you were running a remote line... are you using co2?

yeah i was using Co2, But im pretty sure it wasnt the remote, when i attach my stock there are 2 Rings around it that i belive are supposed to fit into the gun, however i can only get one ring in the gun. don't know why. oh well doesn't matter, im prolly gonna sell it and my flatline i've been playing front lately and that stuff has just been getting in my way...

Thx everyone.

THATS WHY!

you need to have both rings on the INSIDE of the casing. otherwise there isnt enough spring tension to throw the striker against the powertube pin!

Re-install the stock so that both the grooves are inside, and your velocity problems will be fixed.

PS: dont be so quick to ditch that stock. it's a nice little rig if you can adjust to using it.

thanks man, i suppose i will try it again. But like i said i do play front and it does get in the way. Maybe i'll keep it if i start playing back.

whoa, problem, the second ring won't fit inside the gun because some threads are in the way just behind the second ring. Thats why i didn't do that the first time. Ok don't know what to do, or how to fix it. has anyone else had a similar problem.

on the threads is there a plastic deal that you can spin around it? maybe youve got that too close to the gun and it isnt allowing enough room to put both rings in. If thats it all you gotta do is spin the thing so its farther away from the gun. If the spin deal is between the rings and the screw, then youre going to have to unscrew the stock and do it.

Hope that rambling helps.....

i think i fixed it last nighti had to unscrew it and puch the thing with the two rings out more creating more room between the threads and the second ring.
