well the accuracy all depends on how good your paint matches your barrel it doesnt really matter what the velocity is and i have never shot a progressive so i have no clue how far it will go

I would keep your volcity high, but not over 300 fps (or whatever your local field limit is)

Ok... Your velocity does cause your balls to go "off target". IF YOU HAVE YOUR VELOCITY OVER 280 FPS YOU WILL START TO GET LESS ACCURATE. too much pressure causes the ball to fly very wierd, it will shoot like if you had a break in your barrel. And as for how much range the barrel will have all depends on alot of factors, are you shooting nitro, if not what temp is it out side (i'm seroius) ect. But idealy you should get 150ft. + outta that barrel. I can't really say for sure (cuz ive never used the barrel) but i think it will be much higher than 150 ft. And remember this is paintball, and your shooting paint not real bullets...

when me and my pals play we set velocity at 320 and they are accurate. anyway i dont care what you say, but dont tell him its gonna screw his accuracy

But if you look at the science and physics it is going to "screw his Accuracy"
But it is paintball after all... And your not going to notice the difference with the naked eye.
The accuracy is affected but isn't really noticed, untill you start shooting really really fast... sorry if i didn't come off like i ment to...:|

Alright guys here is my opinion.
Accuracy- The best way to achieve accuracy and its been said a million times is to have a straight barrel and to get the paint to match the bore size of your barrel.
Velocity- I actually did a science experiment and I found that when the velocity was higher it would keep a tighter shot pattern. But I did it long distance and most people dont wanna long ball across the speedball course. Keep it 280 so it wont guzzle your air. If you say you have it 320 then people wont wanna play with you.

you should be using some type of medium bore paint, go to the barrel forum and they have a sticky about the sizes of paint
