Ordered my nasty impulse yesterday, should be here tomarrow night or maybe friday. I have the flat red one. Its pretty awesome. Anyway, i need to know...whatever i need to know about impulses. Hopefully the guys at paintballwholesalers set up the dwell and that stuff.(those guys are really nice and helpful by the way). But if there is anything i need to know can you tell me and also what maintenence do i need to do on my impy?

well of course a good greasing is good every now and then, like after every day of play or so. if you have a delrin bolt DONT grease it. and DONT grease your actual hammer, and be sure to clean it off everytime you are cleaning your gun. And give the hammer piston rod plenty of grease, a dry hammer rod is a common cause of first shot drop, which isnt really that bad its just plain annoying.

im glad no one is sayin "bad mistake man" haha, but i knew no one would. Anyway, it comes with the freak bolt. is that the same as the derlin bolt?

how does the nasty compare to the rat?? seems like the nasty is almost the same and cheaper. Any one who knows the big differences??

milling is the main difference . the nasty equals out to be just as much as the rat when you get the options to make it have the same stuff.
Does anyone know what kind of hammer is in the nasty i was looking at it and mine is like stainless stell or somethin.

Like the deal below the grip? Why is it different and which one of those does the stock nasty come with?

one is vert reg with vision the other is horizontal and non-vision . . . i think its an option whether you want vert or horizontal.

well you cant say the top is a non-vision becouse the vision would be on the OTHER SIDE. so, the only difference we can tell from the pics is one has a vert reg, and one a horizontal.:o

yeah thats what i was thinkin. Anyway i had a couple questions still. I've read some stuff about gassing up the impulse, and that its bad if you dont have an on/off or somtin like that. Do i need to know something here or what?

Hey hessians, i was wondering, did they have your dwell and everything set up when you received yours?

yeah mine was all setup when it came. I dont think it is bad if ya dont have an on of valve to gas it up just turn down the reg then once its gassed take it back up to normal.
