after i played last sunday it was working fine, maybe i just didnt notice the leak. But i turned the gas on again on thursday and i noticed a leak behind the grips, so i opened the gun up and i found out that the air was coming from behind the chip where this black box is (where the air tubes are connected to) anyways the air is coming out of that box and there is alittle hole where i can feel it coming out. when i put my finger over it and hold it there for a couple of seconds then take it off the air slows down. then when i turn the gun on it starts to leak more. its kinda pissing me off. i also found a screw inside of the grip rolling around, and i already found the place where it goes (the bottom right screw next to the lcd screen).
i need some help, like if i can fix it myself somehow or do i need to send it to delta.
if no one knows what i am talking about ill take a pic.

That's your solenoid, it sounds like it may be jammed open. Did you use teflon tape on your gun at all? If you did, it could be a piece of that crud stuck in the solenoid. Try firing the gun a few times to see if you can blow it out. Also, check the pressure on your LPR it may be too high (though it's probably the solenoid). Good news is, that I doubt your solenoid is damaged, it's probably just some crap that flew in there. Which means you wont need a replacement or anything. If I were you, I'd send it to delta, but if you're really comfortable working with the solenoid (it's very delicate) you can try taking it apart yourself. Give Delta a call and see what they say, sounds like teflon in the solenoid to me

How to, from Defiances FAQ
Pull the board out by removing the one screw that holds the board in, also remove the ribbon cable, (marking which side went where.) You will now see the solenoid (small black box with hoses), there is one screw holding it in place, you will need to remove this screw. (the hardest part of this whole operation is getting this screw back in place.) Once you have this out, you will need to "shimmy" the solenoid out enought so you can see the top of it. (Not the side with all the wires coming out) The top will have 2 screws diagnal of each other. Make a mark with a pencil or marker, (small mark) to mark the side of the top, and side of the soleniod, so you will put it back on correctly. Now remove the 2 screws, there will be a gasquet and a o-ring. Set those aside., do not lose them. Next you will need a small pair of needle nose pliers, to pull the little round metal thing all the way out (this is a small 3 way, be very careful.) Once you have this out, you will probably see some very small strips of teflon tape, even just a spec of metal chard, or eye lash can make this leak. Once it's internally clean, reverse the process to reassemble/reinstall it.
