my reciever screw nearest the co2 adapter, is giving me a really hard time, really hard... Just wondering if i stripped it, how I would handle it, and how much a new one would cost...

....how should u "handle" it. go get a screw from the garage that has the same threads. ;). skateboard hardware works best

local hardware store should have new screws...itll be like a buck tops

as for getting it out...if it is in the ASA you can take the gun apart without unscrewing those, then once it is open, unscerw the nut from it and you should be able to slide it out of the ASA

if it is the one under the grips...the best was i have found to get it out is get a dremel with a steel cutter wheel and cut a slice out of it...then get a regular flat head screwdriver and unscrew it

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the screw through the grip, not the adapter screws. I had the same problem with the same screw. Depending on how badly stripped it is, you could apply a little pressure to the opposite end (through the nut) while you turn it out. If the head itself is stripped (this is the problem I had) you can do it a few ways, depending on tool availability. I used a dremel to put a little notch into the screw head, and then turned it out using a normal screwdriver. Have to be careful doing that, though, or you can notch your gun in the process. Best way would be to drill it out if you have a carbide-tipped bit. It'll bite hard into that screw and pull it out for ya.

Good luck!

is that bottom screw really important anyway, it seems the asa screws accomplish the same thing. Is there anyway to fix the strip? (in the reciever not head of screw) Do i have to get new recievers cause that would be a biatch for just one screw... (that doesnt sound right... :) )

what do you mean strip in the receiver? the only thng that the screw goes into is the nut on the other side...so unless you are trying to say that is stripped, if thats the case just pop it out with a pair of needlenose pliers and go get a new one from the hardware store for like 50 cents or less
