we're gettin a team together and we have a guy that will be our back man and we want him to have a gun with some good distance, the problem is he will not always play back, he insists on playing front as well. So out of the closed bolt guns, which one is fast and good for back as well as front. Can you give me specs on the guns you mention(bps and such) thanks for any help

shocker would be a very good back gun. a cocker would be more all around, but the speed is lacking with a coker. although a hing trigger may help. a mag is not closed bolt but it would be a very good choise. size is about the same as cocker, a little bit lighter and a tad bit faster. a impulse would be a good one a very good one would be a timmy. they are one of the fastes guns out there. the have a shorter trigger then a angel. its all preference

Why would a shocker be faster then a cocker?

Shocker is electric right? He's probably assuming electro's are faster than pneumatic.

Depends on the trigger/trigger job/person pulling the trigger/etc...

I bet every player on say, the TonTons(Shockers), can shoot faster than every player on Strange(Cockers) with their own guns.

i ment what it sonds like. although the shocker trigger is on par with the cocker it still has the soft mouse click trigger that can be fanned very fast. or better yet put a angel frame on it;)

Blazer.

Smaller then ether (more compact). Can match ROF with a compitent trigerman. Range and accuracy is there. Everything you could want.

Well. Electro triggers can be set up EXACTLY to the users specifications.

The Blazer is ugly, fairly expensive, harder to service in alot of areas, ugly, has less aftermarket parts, ah...

Well it is a great gun. I wouldn't mind having one myself. But what is the internet without arguing?

shocker is more of a back players gun, whereas the cocker is a front players gun, so he can tuck tightly up against bunkers.

I'll agree with ugly.. just doesn't look right to me (the typhooon on the other hand...)

And yea, you realy can't just take it into your local airsmith to get work done on it... (then again, it's not like you will need much done to it).

And it's true that there's not many aftermarker parts... but it comes with the top end aftermarket pnumatics already, and with a matched barrel, what more could you dream of?

As for expensive, not realy... not compaired to any other high level closed bolt marker...

but yea, it is damn ugly... :D

I think shockers are good for back player opposed to cockers because of the rof capablity
