I'm not talking about recrcreational ball vs. speedball, I want to know what aspect of paintball you like the best. Although in general woodsball is associated with wargames and speedball with the competitive aspect of paintball, there are many exceptions. Would you rather play paintball as a wargame with scenarios and objectives. Or as a faster paced arena type game with balanced sides?

Paintball as a wargame (people shooting stuff at each other with guns) was what got me interested in paintball in the first place. If If I thought that you only played paintball on a small open field behind geometric shape I don't know if I would have got interested in paintball...

Well tell me what you think!

It's best as a fun, competitive, war-like sport. Get it?

I like the arena style of play (speedball) but I have more fun playing in the woods were you have to try and achieve an objective, or multiple objectives in a war style scene.

The answer to your question is that paintball is fun to different people for different reasons.

I like woodsball, speedball, and everything in between.

I think paintball is BEST as a sport. I HATE woodsball, but I like a good scenario every now and again.I don't normally see scenarios as war simulations, just a way to where you could play paintball ALL weekend and get some prizes.I also like the aspect of speedball in most scenarios. Ask anyone that's gone to a scenario with, if there's someone on the speedball, I'm takin them on. But I say paintball is mostly a competitive sport more than a war game.
