well in the experience I have had my buddy (zombie on here)
had his gun setup with a remote and we were playing in below freezing weather (snow on the ground etc.) and I couldn't keep my damn gun running to save my life.... anyhow I bought him a remote for christmas doh! (new I shoulda kept it) :) and he took his spyder out and played for about 2 hours whil;e I mucked with my gun cursing it....and when he finsished playing he pulled his 16oz out of his harness and shook it the co2 tank actually had turned to a solid chunk of ice!!!!!! holy sh*t I couldn't belive it the gun had ice sickles hanging from it it made me a believer that a remote is definately the way to go because his girls friend with an exchamber ran ok but it was shooting puffs of frost out of the gun and had a problem with swollen orings.... and yes if you get the correct remote (I believe pmi coiled deluxe remote will allow you to connect directly to you ex with the quick disdconnect at the exchamber

I've got a Piranah STS G2 ... 24 oz CO2 tank on a drop forward with a microline kit. Works like a charm. :)

The only O-ring problems I've had are with the tank O-rings ... but they're cheap. I've decided to hold off on going Nitro cause the tanks are so Damned expensive ... Other things to spend the money on right now.
