Hello Canadian paintballers,
I am playing with the idea to creat a web site for canadian paintball. There seems to be a great lack of descent Canadian paintball websites, so this is what i have descided.
now because this site will be for Canadian paintballers, I would like to know what you want to see on the site. please respond with any and all ideas you have for this site!
Thanks

umm...just about everything that's on both http://www.canadianpaintball.com & http://www.pballcanada.com , I'd like to see forums similar to the pbreview style, but all for Canadian paintballers. Some off topic sections for music, that's a possibilty. Do you have any skills in HTML or Java?

There are already a couple out there, but it's a great idea to try and make another (Imagine the internet only had 4 paintball sites.... ugh). Field reviews, canadian events, editorials, it's all good as long as it's about paintball

Photo galleries are pretty big, they're what keep alot of people intrested. Do features on certain players. The players can send in their profiles and pics, you can put them up on the net. Field reviews. It'd be kinda cool if you made a site that linked up with canadianpaintball and pballcanada , sorta like a canada paintball webring, cause one site has a great store, another has a forum and cool projects...so you can add articles, pics, anything!

actually, I was thinking about putting all those features together on my site. I would like to have an online store, projects you can do, news, reviews on canadian fields and players.

An online store is gonna cast hella lots. Unless you can get enough recognition, it won't be worth it. Plus, you gotta be able to compete with stores like Badlands and canadianpaintball (best prices I've seen yet). However, if you do get a store goin, I'll spread the word and put up links. This site sounds pretty good. Take a look at http://www.pbstar.com , I like their style of reviews and some of their stories. The thing I'd MOST LIKE to see is paintball videos. Pigtv has alot, http://www.paintballchannel.com has some, do you think you'll be able to put some in? All you'd have to do is be able to take video format and turn it into something that can be streamed over the net (downloading the video is also an option but it takes up space on the hard drive). You could just go to your local field and film rec games. If I had a camera I would tape some speedball events and send you the tapes. A "Tips" section is an easy addition. Look at http://www.p8ntballer.com 's CLASSROOM section.

Do you have enough money to make this happen? How many years have you been playing pball

I'd really like to get some videos up, Im sure i could do some sort of streaming video. the problem is, where I am the paintball fields arent too exciting, therfore not too photogenic. but I could have field owners with video cameras make movies of a game on their field and then send it to me with a description of their field and it could be some advertisement for them.
Also, one thing badlands and the CPA-online dont have is online ordering. I could try doing something similar to CPA (they order from their wholesalers as they get their orders (or so i have heard many places)).

some videos, tons of pics with captions. how-to's, lay of the fancy bullsh*t, recent coverage, equipment reviews, forums for each province and the extras that can be found on other canadian pb sites.

Ya that would be great. I mean a another pbstore source would be great, to find the stuff i want i have to get from the state sites. Also get lots of reviews and maybe list of locations u can play at in Canada and maybe someone will play with me!
