Just wondering which one to get. If i get the R/T do i need the expansion? I read somewhere the if i dont have one the internals could freeze on me. Also can someone tell me if the tippmann expansion feels comftorable(it looks pretty round), and how does that 8 chambered one feel as well... Anyone try them both...?

If you are using CO2, with the R/T or without it, you should go with an expansion chamber. I used to have the Tippmann chamber on my gun, and I found it to be comfortable.

I've never really seen and Tippmann gun with a reg. Just get the x-chamber that was made for the m98. It should work well.

I have a reg on my tippmann m98 because it does a better job at managing the Co2 than an expansion chamber (if you get the right reg.) and i had the money for a good reg. Get an expansion chamber if you dont have the $$ for a good reg, but a good Co2 reg is all around better.

what exactly is a "good" regulator? and i think the palmer would be too uncomftorable(spelt right?) to hold....

There are probabally around 3 regulators that the manufacturer would recommend for use with Co2. I can only think of 1 though. its the palmers stabilizer. I use the Female kind that you dont hold as a foregrip.

Palmers is one of only a few regulators that the manufacturer would recommend for use with Co2. You should research to find the other brands.
