I am gonna make my spyder electric but i am not sure which one performs better

Man, I wouldnt recomend putting that much into a SPyder myself, I'd suggest you give some serious consideration to saving the money for your electro trigger, and getting a bit more money and purhcasing either an impulse or a Bushmaster2K if you have nitro. The spyder is a good gun (great gun, I love em) but you can only take their performance so far

i will have to disagree with u guys. I know it is expensive, but i like upgrading guns. I have considered what u guys said but i like spyders and i am going lp and i am gonna make it an electro.

I put an electro trigger on my shutter and it works great! i also upgraded all my internals so they could take the punishment. i put a shocktech bolt and in it with the electro trigger and i can go up against any person on the field with an angel,shocker,mag or any other tourney gun!

no, no blowback can cycle as fast, no spyder, i know i love em is worth electro, get benchmarks, much more worth it

the spyder can cycle as fast as needed to use the elcd. At least my spyder can. i don't know about stock spyders. mine might just be able to do it cuz the only thing stock is the striker. i don't know what it is.

i refuse to beleive that the actual bolt moves forward and back in 1/13 of a second, on a nice mage or cocker prehaps but no, not a blowback

hrmm...I haeve heard REALLY good things ONLY if you make your gun low pressure..or else the gun will turn into a paint blender..i'm gonna go and get a Centerflag hyper frame..i'll tell you guys how i like it.

I'm totally with Richie_C here. That is why companies like WDP, Smart Parts and Bob Long (yes, Bob is now a company in my book, so drop it) use electronically activated solenoid valves for bolt movement, and not springs and gas blowback. It's just not as reliable or fast. Dont think I'm bashing Spyders, I love em completely, upgrading mine was fun as hell, and my compact is a fun little gun, but an electro spyder doesnt perform as well, and I know because I've tried one. TL running LP and nitro. Plus, spyders send air up the powerfeed, and there isnt really changing this, and this would impair feed rate and slow down how fast your balls load, meaning that if your balls are feeding at 12, and your gun is cycling at 13, you are gonna chop them paintballs clear in half. Again, i love spyders, but all guns have their place
