Hello all, I'm Mav

I'm new round here (not pbreview, just the forums). I'll be cruisin this and the AGD section.

I'm always welcome to help and that's pretty much what I'm here to do. So hmm I pack a '99 F4, and I do tech for all years as well as the Griffin line but I'm limited to mostly blowback semis and pumps (that means I can do spyders, pirhanas and BE's as well).

I've had experience with cockers and mags but I don't trust my skills to mess with anyone else's higher end markers when they go down.

So anyways I goin to bed now.

Nice to meet ya'll.

Someone who can work with griffins...seems like me and Thor are the only Griffin people on these forums...do you also work with Hammers?

Hammers.. Hmm.. I've had my hands on them before but the darn things worked the whole time so I didn't get a chance to do techie. Oh well they seem like solid markers anyways.

Yup , se habla Griffin.

Glad somebody's happy to see me

Well I have never tried to mess with the trigger pull but lightening the trigger return spring is supposedly the best way to lighten the pull. The ACI series definitely have ham-fisted pulls and any little bit can help. Personally I've never had to mess with it because I'm already pulling 7 bps and the F4/Griffin won't do any more than that with a stock trigger at least...

That's about all you need to mess with, although the rear cocking bolts are a sweet addition to the Griffin. When I'm out with my buds it's my fav. toy (that doesn't belong to me).

Well I've never used it so I can't give a hands on opinion nor a 2nd hand opinion.

But it really seems like something worth doing to give the Griffin (and spyder lines) a real edge, that is, if you can afford it. The functionality is something very new to the ACI blowback line and I hope that I see more innovations like it in the future.
