i dont know much about timmies but some people say that the matrix is just as accurate as a stock autococker
but then those people are more than likely biased so do what you want to

Yes and some people say that the timmy is more accurate than an autococker, which though it does make my gun look better, isnt really based around facts. They're both about the same in accuracy, using fatty's barrel off his matrix at skyball at the target shoot, I hit 8 targets and he hit 7 using his matrix with the same barrel. The fact that I hit one more than him was mostly 'cause I'm better :P (actually I just had slightly better luck than him), so you can see right there that accuracy is gonna be about the same

Stock, the intimmy has more kick, but you can easily do the LP mod to get rid of that. So, bone stock, I would say matrix is a tad bit better in rapid fire. But with the LP mod the kick on the intimmy is gone.

I like both guns. I like the Matrix more better cuz of the movie "THE MATRIX"(just the name) and because for the price its faster than the angel (thats what i've seen and heard) even if its stock. Also I like matrix cuz shocktech has now has its own version.
Matrix are gas hogs!! But they'll come out with a new bolt to make it have more shots.
DON'T GET ME WRONG I LIKE TIMMYS TOO. AND THEY ARE VERY GOOD. (never seen one on the field but i hear alot of good things from people here)

They are both kick *** guns. Nothing comes close to their quality and performance. It's just with the Timi you get the anit-chop eye. But with the Matrix you get the extremely low pressure. I dunno what Matrices are going for now but the lowest I've seen a timi is $685 USD @ http://www.paintballconnection.com

Yup. BTW, what kind of consistency do you get after the mod twitch?

Before mod I was gettin pretty good at skyball, like +-2. After mod it's maybe +-5. Reason being that the vigilante cant handle 750 in and 200 out consistently, too much strain on the reg. Next upgrade is gonna be an adjustable, 400 in and 200 out should give me +-1. I'm lookin at going back to the stock setup when I buy a delrin bolt, 'cause the kick will be gone that way. Or I'll just get my adjustable. Or maybe a better reg, I dunno. I know people with good reg setups though that get exact same FPS each time, ah well, some day :D

i got my matrix from andrew lusson who sold it to me fer only $650... its brand new... he like has is own little store and tests out the guns before he ships em...

You mean, buy the tank that happens to have the highest flow and an on off and is one of the most cheapest adjustable 4.5K tanks? Why oh why would I do such a thing :) The tank is gonna come first though, a gladiator vigi combo will perform better than say a Sidewinder or hyperflow with a Pure Energy.

I would say matrix for two reasons one it is easier to aim because it has better grips (Both stock grips suck)and IMO has a better stock barrel, but they are both pinpoint accurate

Nah, don't go for a sidewinder reg...just keep the vigi.

Well like I said, I'll check my consistecny after the conquest and see if I really need another reg. The vig is giving me decent consistency at the moment, but when I upgrade I want +-2 at the very worst
