I have a shutter, and i just tried to put a 32 degrees 6 stage expansion chamber on my gun, and failed misserably. I dont know how to get a line form the chamber to the guage part without it sticking out half a mile cause the distance is too short. So i returned the expansion chamber, but am still intersted in puttin one on my gun. Has ne one done this or know how i could make an expansion chamber setup work without having a line stick 6 inches sideways off my gun. Thanks

You will probally have to buy a shorter line if you don't want all the extra line sticking out.

I'm not sure because I don't own a shudder but you could try using microline and an expansion chamber that has the gas connection at the top of the chamber. Also I don't think it's very good (not sure) to put an exp. chamber in after the regulator. I hope that helps.

The shutter comes stock with an xchamber, it isnt a very good one though. The easiest way to make the line fit, is to buy a new, shorter one. You should probably use macro lines.

i used shorter microline, the problem is since kingman uses metric bolts and stuff, i need and adapter added on to the line, so it leaves no room between the regulator and expansion chamber, i would have to almost bend the line backwords, thats what the problem is

putting a regulator before an X chamber is stupid...the expansion chamber messes up the regulated air the reg puts out..if anything..just get an anti siphon tube or somehow put the X chamber before the reg.

Ok, what about if i put a gas through foregrip on my gun instead of the expansion chamber, so that the regulator can do its job, And, is this regulator good enough to use to go to a low presure setup with, I alredy have a bolt, barel, and low presure chamber, along with the small regulatr, so can i buy a valve with the foregrip and go low pressure?

i don't think so because the reg that comes with the shutter is not lp so it won't work. also the reg that comes with it is not exactly a great reg.

i just had a new thought. there are stocks off bbtpaintball.com that have a built in x chamber but u have to use a remote setup.

I use the stock regulator on my shutter with a magnaport valve and shochtech delrin bolt....and run lp with n2....the stock regulator is a lp regulator...you can set it as low 200psi....which is lower than any spyder I have ever heard of running...it is lower in fact than the legendary sub 300 psi sypders I have heard of but never have actually seen.. and set up works great...for me anyway......so all those who say it is crap...not sure if you own one..but it's just not true...

ptflyer.... u have an aftermarket valve in ur shutter?? i was gonna get one but ppl says that the shutter valves is a different size than other spyders... did u get one that is made for just the shutter or was it just a regular valve that would fit any spyder??

nope..no special valve is needed.....I just used the 32o magnavalve..for spyders.....it is the same size as a standard spyder...so any of the after market valves will work..as long as they are for spyers....but for the after market valve spring...you have to use the compact spring...because thats the valve spring the shutter uses...you can tell because if you take out the old one you will see it is a shorter spring than the standard...I used the 32o spring kit with it..but it's not needed..really...the 32o comes with three main springs and 3 compact..and 3 standard valve springs..
