This may seem like a silly question, but here it goes: If I leave a very high tension spring in my gun, will it lose its tension? It is my low pressure spring, and I am wondering if I should leave it out of the gun when I'm not playing. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I was hoping not, for conveniency's sake, but I am not sure. I don't think it will either, but does anyone know for sure?

Yes, after a while it will lose its tension. It is not something that will happen overnight, but something you want to keep in mind.

It will take YEARS.
I have had gun springs last decades... Century even...
