xtra, i have one and it is great stock

if you get a sts, just get a g2 they are the same except for the g2 is cheaper

NO WAY DUDE, the STS is alot better, I mean, spyders are pretty good, but I mean not only feature wise, but the look of piranhas are alot better, in my opinion spyders look to boxy.

STS, they dont break down as much as spyders, made in USA if they do. Also, I personally dont like the idea of having to have a vert elbow on the Xtra. I have the JT which doesnt need one.

Xtra, my friend just got one and it rocks. I have a Spyder Compact 2 in 1 Java and it rocks too.

Go with the STS. Trust me you wont be disappointed, I have one and it ROCKS. It has a field strip in just pull it out and everything comes out. And to push it back in theres a little switch on the grip letting you slide the bolt and hammer back in without any hassle. Also the stock barrel is very accuarte.

This is a hard decision! I have been pondering this one for a while myself. Eventually though i went with Piranha. The STS G2 is great its just like a Spyder, but made in the USA. A lot of times i feel people pay for the Kingman name rather than the marker. The STS G2 (and G3) have better velocity consistency and accuracy (mostly because of the velocity consistency) and better parts IMO. Even though the SPyder Xtra has the small little things all players like, like a drop forward, vert feed, etc. I think the STS G2 is a better pick. I think you cant get better guns for around $180 than a Piranha or Spyder.

green goblin-you said nothing about the perfromance of the pirahna

poiuyt-spyders dont break down often, and if they do what does it matter where they are made? its not like you send them back to where they are amde. you send the company headquartered in usa

saiyan warrior-xtra has field strip pins too and the stock barrel is nasty accurate-close ot my boomstick. and if you cant put internals back into a double stacked blowback you shouldnt be getting a pabll gun...

snyper731-where its made doesnt matter. velocity consistancy-dont think so. the parts are exactly the same. mabey you use nitro. better parts? they are the same. thats why upgrades are interchangable

please prove yur arguments. i think the xtra is better because it has rear cocking (mabey sts does-cant remeber), good barrel, and xchamber to help w/co2.

Whats the difference between flush and rear cocking? and to dawbs712, i know the piranha is more consistant because of the tests they did on the 3 at paintballreviews.com but thanks anyway.

i assume u mean the vert feed g3, i say the piranha, cause they have stanardholes to mount a drop forrowed, better custamer survice, and a nicer trigger pull, and the x-chamber on the xtra does nothing, and the g3 has fflush cocking, the bolt doesnt move back and forth outside the marker once its cocked, so u dont need a beaver tale, but which ever 1 u get ull be happy with

flush cocking means when you pull the bolt back to cock it after loading in your co2 it does pop back anymore, which makes beavertails useless becasue the bolt doesnt pop back out of the gun

i still love my xtra, i played with it today and its great still no noticable breaks (i play in a pretty dark field which is indoors so i really dont notice breaks) its very accuracte and i put a wgp reg on it that i got for $30 and it r0cks, very consistent, i chronoed it ONCE, and i havent had to adjust for 3 weeks

it kinds pissed me off though because i saw someone else with one today at the field :(

because if u buy it online then in order to get it fixed you have to ship it allll the way to japan or whatever with spyders. Trust me I know they break down, my friends both have TL+ and Shutter they always break and sending them to the store. However, I doubt they take good care of them...... buttttt.
