Hi, has anyone played halflife paintball? well when i try to play on the internet, i says "your CD key cannot be used on the VALVe system". if you can send me the cd key that you used that would be very helpful, or please tell me how you did it.

well u have a cd key that is not a real one like most likly u got from a cd key generator !!!! i sugguest u go buy the game of hlaf-life or cs wich ever is cheaper then just put the paintball game on there.

You must have the Half-life CD, the CS version is a standalone and will not run any Half-Life mods as it lacks mot crucial files. It is more worthwhile in the long run to buy HL and get all the games that add-on to HL free, legitimately.

I liked HL-PB when I first started playing but CS was much better gameplay wise, the movements werent fluid enough in HL-PB and they needed more content. Ofcourse now CS is starting to suck, 1.4 and 1.5 are progressively making things worse and worse.

I WANT BETA 6 OF CS BACK! :bawling:

yup 1.0 and 1.3 were way better than 1.4 and 1.5 *** bunny hop pausing and other stuff

Digital Paintball is being released on July 1st, 2002. This is a brand new mod and is not the same as hlpb. There is leaning and better gun renders and all kinds of stuff. just though you might like to know. the mod's site is http://www.digitalpaintball.net/

janus, there are people that have downgrades, and you can play on servers with any version you want.

I know but I have other reason why I have to deal with the latest versions.

-I run my own server that has to be updated for clan matches
-I manage a clan(soon to be OGL)
-The populous stay with the latest
-I also have a CS website that needs to ave the lowdown on the latest patch

If I didnt have all that to deal with I would stick to those servers.

I'm checking out DPB, sounds cool.

theres a okay mod called Digital Paintball. its pretty nice. They did a okay job on the maps and the models are all very nice. They are working on 1.5 which is going to have the 2k2 timmy, emag, trix, oracle angel (IR3 or LCD not suer) and a lot of other guns too.
