Excalibur

I entrust most of you have heard of the Excalibur made by AKALMP (www.akalmp.com) and heard good things about it. I've heard many people say that they're one of if not the best electro! It's closed bolt, 3 pounds, 13 bps, based on a 3 tube design, uses a sidewinder regulator, can run off CO2 or N2, uses a 9 volt etc. Why is it referred to with such reverance? It doesn't sound like too much out of the ordinary. Any input would be appreciated! Thanx

it comes from factory at 10.5 bps so you dont out shoot your hopper so bad. But, it is capable of cycling over 13bps, and it will be able to be changed to 13 bps when the datalink comes out(2 weeks if the manufacture get the parts).

As of today? No. As of this weekend and by the end of next week? Probably 3 will! They were very impressed with them! Not a single chop or break. Brandon had one barrel break after he had a digger in the snake but he cleared it and it shot fine the rest of the game.

its a moving part outside the gun, and those things lead to breakdowns. plus there will also be a hole that the cocking knob comes out of, whick is a place for dirt to get into the gun. On the Excalibur i dont think the knob on the utside was nessisary in the disign of the gun.

The bolt pin (it's not a cocking knob since you don't have to cock it like a spyder or 98) connects the bolt to the ram that drives it forward. The Excalibur has less exposure area to the bolt than a 'Cocker or shutter does. When you actually shoot the Excalibur the sight line is offset to the bolt pin so you don't even notice it.

NoNO NO!!!!!!! arg!!!!! 10.5 bps is simply a rate!, like a slope on a graph, it means you can shoot 5 balls in .4761 seconds, it does not mean you shoot 10.5 balls for one secound, it is a statistic, not a requirment, it is not required that the gun shoots 10.5 times ain a secound thus chopping the paint, it means that over 2 secounds it shoots 21 balls. Do you get it? its not what is shots at, it's simply a rate, not a must do, it's a specification, meaning it can shoot
1ball in .09 secounds
2balls in .19 secounds
3 balls in .2857 secounds
4 balls in .38095 secounds
5 balls in .47619 secounds
6 balls in .57142 secounds
7 balls in .66666 secounds
8 balls in .76190 secounds
9 balls in .85714 secounds
10 balls in .95238 secounds
11 balls in 1.04761 secounds
