ive encountered a few problems with my rat.
#1 the asa was a little wobbly. not hurtful at all just annoying. my mom noticed me wobbling it around, she said she knows whats wrong (she knows nothing about paintball or markers), she got an allen wrench, twisted the screw and guess what, the screw breaks in half. so we took out the other screw in order to get the broken half out of there, and we noticed the screws were kind of bent a little. not in a "its supposed to be that way" kind of bent, it was just misshapen. were going tommorrow to find some matching screws that are straight from a nut and bolt specialist, hopefully well find it.
#2 the maxflo can turn completely around. and no not just the bottom part im not an idiot, i know that part is supposed to do that. but i mean the WHOLE reg twists around. but when i connect air to the marker, the reg wont budge. i dont know too much about the max flo but near the top of it there are two tiny holes that fit a 3/32 allen wrench, i thought that maybe those would lock it down and it wouldnt twist around any more, so i tightened them and it still twists around. what do those screws do, is the maxflo twisting around bad? what will that do if its bad? and what can i do to stop it.
#3 THE KICK, when i rapid fire its not too noticable, but on a single shot it sure is. i dont know what it could be, i emailed smart parts and told them about it and told them my friends brand new nasty didnt have the kick, he said to match up our dwells and pressures, he said that was really all that could effect it. besides the bolt and hammer (i have a delrin bolt, lpr, and aa comp hammer which is brass, but my friend with the nasty has the same set up) all i really care about is the kick, the other problems dont bother me near as much. if not i just might see if I can trade in for another RAT.
