prolly a f4 illustrator, they r good guns so u wont have to be working on it all the time, they have a long triger pull tho

That's not what he asked ;)

I'd go with the Griffin, seeing as that it's the XP version you'll already have an expansion chamber that comes in handy when using Co2 and you'll never regret having one. Also if you prefer the rear cocking design that the other makes have (I think) you can always add that on later. You may even find the Griffin's stock barrel to be acceptable (up until you can afford a replacement).

piranha!! the g3 has all the qualities of the other two plus flush cocking (rear cocking, but the bolt stays inside the gun) and a sear release slide on the grip frame (so u can put the bolt back in easily). These two features are only available on piranhas. they look sharp, too!

That's a good point, Piranha's are great guns... But I'm curious, what's the price difference between them? (You can add 25 to the Griffin to simulate a rear cocking bolt if you'd like)

yea mav's got a point, too. the g3 would cost a bit more than the other two.

let's see...
from paintballgear.com (oh and if you order from them dont do it online, call them instead)

griffin xp = 119.99
aggressor = 109.99
g3 sts = 134.99

but u kno what, an electro spyder esprit is only 144.99...

So that's not too bad :) I should start dishing out advice to give piranhas a look as well... it's been about a year and a half since I've used one, how the new models doin?

oh yes, do believe my gringo friend, we do exist. We are all over the place as a matter of fact

The fact is you just don't see them, they are snipers they conceal themselves from view in order to get an angle on you unsuspecting gringos.

Plus maybe a Piranha is looking good peoples :) That may be one of my next "project" guns.

Am I mistaken, or is the same Robert91090 that slammed the living crap out of F4's in the "Don't invest in a F4" thread, giving this thread starter advice to buy an F4, and actually saying they're good in the 2nd post above?

Hey it's like they say when in Rome, Do as the Romans do! Well! When at the Review, Why not check it out for yourself and see what the reviewers have to say about each of your choices! ;)

The Spyder Aggressor http://www.pbreview.com/1123/1/0/

The Piranna STS G3 http://www.pbreview.com/1059/1/0/

That's the beauty of this place! You can read what actual users have found as good or bad about each product.

The other thing I'd do is good to a shop and hold each marker in your hands. See if you can shoot them. Seeing and reading are great! But feeling is so much more! Good luck & let us know which way ya went!

in my op go with the aggressor

spyders are very dependable and durable.. keep the velocity at 270-280 and you shouldnt have a prob with the stock barrel

the rear cocking is also a plus

Spend an extra $25 and go buy an F4. I can Shoot about three hoppers off a 9 oz in cold weather. Plus the thing is damn near indestructable (except the trigger frame, maybe. It hasn't given me problems though) and is quite resiliant, for proof, read the Sticky situation thread in this forum. And it has the equivelent of a flush cocking system, so all you really need to do is slap on an expansion chamber, and HVC, and it's pretty much upgraded as much as you'll ever need. After all, the stock barrel is a discontinued after market barrel. But if you do decide to get an aftermarket barrel, keep the stock, cause it's great for shooting large bore paint.

Get a Piranha. You can get a G3 STS at www.xpaintball.com for really cheap. I think the remanufactored (the ones that are fixed at factory but were never 'used'. This gaurantees it works, that's why i like these) cost like 100 or something. It's really cheap. Check it out, you get good deals too like a free pair of gloves or jersey.
