Hey, I'm up for that. Can I use my double barrled cocker? You can use both hands to throw paint.

Honestly, if you believe that, then you must not have shot one before. I've shot almost the exact same setup you have in your sig and I'd rather have any of my cockers.

1 way to tell if someone's a newbie:
They post threads in forums titled:

lol, there was a gang of newbies when i played last sunday, like 10 kids, prolly a birthday party
they were acting like they new what they were talking about and how their rental titans, m98's, and spyders were better than my friend's cockers, it was hilarious
then we get on the field and bunker 12 in one game, i swear my little bro shot about 5 shots at a bunker and 6 kids walk out in a line, i dont think he hit anyone, but it pisses me off when they dont surrender then you feel bad cuz you have to decide whether to shoot them up and get their parents pissed off or just wait for them to surrender, sometimes the parents are worse than the kids

Everybody was a newbie at some point, some learn from anothers mistakes and some (like my brother) think they know everything about paintball after they have played twice. That is the kind of newbie you want to hit is the one who doesnt listen to experienced players and thinks he knows all. And I always appreciate the guy who goes easy on myself and the other new guys for a couple games.

I would play with a newbie any day. They are, generally, interested in just having fun and playing fair - and that's what rec ball is about.
I can't stand TWiBs and their cry baby attitudes. I have heard guys crow about how good they are after taking out a group of newbies - of course this was done by laying down more paint in one game than the whole newbie group could afford for the entire day. If they were so good they should've handicap themselves by limiting paint to 50 rounds per game or at least played with the same equipment as their opponents.
Anyone who judges their self worth by how many newbies they can trash should really seek professional help.

A couple weeks ago in a rec game on a saturday this group of newbies came onto the field and just walked on like they owned the dang place... just started with out a word to anyone else. Then when one of them came off the field standing around he had an negligent discharge that shot one of the regular players in the ear. If that regular player had not just turned to answer another question - that ball would have hit him square in the eye.
Yes - newbies are as stupid a sackfull of cornholes.
But as experienced players its YOUR job to teach those guys the do's and don'ts of the game. If a Newbie plays with you guys and leaves still being as dumb as he came - its your fault. Unless of course he is resistant to advice and learning... then you kick him off the field.

I played with a group of newbies at one time and they were awesome...there was four vets and 10-12 newbies so we split it even...two vetts per team...me and flash were on one team ...some other vets on another and these newbies did everything we told them to do without hesitation and we slaughtered the other team...they trusted what we said to be the way yo do things, no our strategies are not perfect but they were better then the other teams...I would play with a newbie anytime...its fun to help them get the know-how of the game.

Gotta love the newbies. Help em out whenever I can. Remember we were all there at one time. They'll get better (we hope) and while they still are newbies, they are great for comic relief:)
