How many of you Skull mask owners have gotten hit on the face because the soft material the mask is made of got pushed back and the ball hit your face?

Giving fat lips?!! the bottom half of the mask is disigned to deflect paint away from the face. Ive been hit at a dead stand still from a range of no more then 10 feet, and the mask didnt even flex. I don't have a clue how the mask could bend far enough back to give u a fat lip

Better a fat lip than a ball square to the teeth.
I remember playing when Goggles were just goggles - no mask.
Few things hurt like a ball to the teeth.

They r quite cheap.I think its difficult to get a fat lip with this mask(i also own a spectra flex and it bends a lot more easier).I think that over all,it is a safe mask.

OH CRAP! i guess us new guys should be thankful that the old timers worked the kinks out of the sport and set up some safety regulations before we got here!
