well i owned an 01 cocker, but lately its been causing me nothing but trouble, i sold it for 540 canandian and ordered and spyder e-99 an electro(i heard great things about this gun) and have 140 left,and plan to use that money to get a barrel. i was wondering if that was a smart move i made? it was like trading a broken cocker for a brand new electro and barrel.

id of done the same thing ,i guess cockers r just not 4 u and the e99 is a good gun just kinda a big step down from cocker to blowback with e-grip but if the cocker wasnt doing it 4 u then im sure u can maintain a spyder it is not hard at all and as long as ur satisified with ur decision then b happy and play:D

i kinda wanted a electro and i read some reviews on the e-99, 9.6/10, thats not too bad.hopefully it will serve me as well as my ac did.

I think you made a good move for yourself. I'm sure you'll do just fine with the e-99. Just make sure you get a new barrel for it. The stock one pretty much sucks. Also get a 12v revvy.

If i were you i wouldnt believe half of the stuff you read in the reviews.

e-99's are pretty good, but IMO the dragun is better. i have never used an e-99 but i have seen plenty, theres just something about them that i dont like. its just personal preference though, if the cocker was too much of a hassle then the e-99 will probably please you.
