I was just going to call SmartParts, but if anyone has any other sites out there that sell this stuff for a good price, I'd like to know those sites. At $10 a pop, Impy ball detents can be pricey.

$10 for the standard one and $15 for the Vision side detent. And the worse part is they aren't that durable. I already stripped one of my detents by turning, I guess, the allen wrench too hard.
Thanks anyway. I was hoping there was some place that sold them cheaper.

I was trying to unscrew one to clean out my detent, then all of a sudden it started turning. I was look, that was tough to get moving. THen i realized it wasnt unscrewing, it was just stripped. How in the world... And now the ball fell out and i need to get a new one. Man they're expensive. I wouldnt possibly be able to get a new one through warranty???

I did the same thing Absolution, but SP wouldnt give me a new one because they said it would be like me modding my trigger. Basicly if its not their fault you have to pay for it.

I thought I was still tightening the detent but the allen wrench was actually just turning because I had stripped the detent. I just bought a spare parts kit from Smart Parts and had to get two ball detents: one was the regular one and a longer one for the Vision side of the marker. Just for the ball detents, it was already $30.
For that amount, you'd think they could make detents that would be more sturdy.

Paintballers for Better Ball Detents on Impulses group or PBBDI. If we are going to pay $20 for a screw with a ball, then we have the right to expect that the screw is going to last.
My biggest pet peeve with the paintball industry is that players have to pay such high prices for everything and often times, the product that we get is below par at best.
