Iv'e got a crapey 10 inch stock barrel unported on my CORE Hammer-Head, at paintballtogo.com there is a 16 in Spyder sniper barrel/thunder pig.

1) Is this a good barrel?

2)will it fit on my gun?

3) it's about $25.00 bucks, does price make a Diff?

Thanx in advance!:):)

1) Yes, it is a decent barrel.
2) dont know.
3) 25 is a good price for it.
I wouldn't get a 16". if at all possible, get something 14 or under. Anything after 12 is wasted space, but its up to you. The extra length won't cause any problems.

Trust me on this one. Stay away from Thunder Pig. It's a really crappy barrel. My friend had it on his spyder and turned it into a paint blender. go with a custom prouducts or a lapco bigshot if your short on cash.

Lets see here... Personally I wouldnt go for that barrel... With a barrel in that price range your going to lose quality. You never know what could happen to it. For 25 bucks 1. The Honing is not gonna be very good at all. 2. Minimal Porting 3. Low Quality Material 4. Most Likely bad Constructon. Pretty much the only good thing about that kind of barrel is its price. I doubt it would be a heck of a lot better than the stock barrel. Depending on what kind of paint u mainly use I would spend 15 bucks more and go for the CP (custom products) barrel. For the price you cant beat em! I believe they go for 40 bucks. Pretty much you pick your boresize for your barrel after you know your paint bore size and match em up. When a paint matches a barrel it gets great accuracy. These are nice barrels. Again I would go with a CP barrel which matches your paint its very good for the money. I wouldnt gamble my bucks on that 25 dollar barrel.

I have to know, are you just looking at barrels based on price, or are you going for a paint/barrel match? Don't just buy a barrel for looks or whatever, make sure you are getting one that will work well with the paint at your local field.

If you want to know more about paint/barrel matches, look in the Barrels and Paint forum for more information. Trust me, it makes all the difference.
