I found this for $90 at pbgear.com, and thinking of buying it. Weight and the 6 aa batteries doesnt matter. I've heard good and bad about the Halo, and i beleive there is a Halo B (maybe im wrong). How well does the Halo feed without busting balls and stuff, is it good? Is it durable enough? is there a Halo B? Will i Shut up?

Yes, there's a Halo B, supposed to be faster and lighter than the first version.
I've seen all the 16-18-20-22 bps videos, and I dont understand it. When I use somebodys HALO I purposely try to chop, just to see if I can. Every time I've used one (I've used two on my imp, one on Weasel's imp, 3 angels with them, and two matrices with them), I turned off vision on the imps, turned up my lpr, and cranked up the trinity pressure on the matrices. I got all the guns to chop, and I know I can't pull anywhere near 22 bps.
I'm not impressed.

I got 3 as betas and EVERY single one of them was junk
I don't know if maybe it was a bad run or what (I'd really like to think so).
Also, and this is bad coming from a dual Shocker owner, the thing is big..... too big for me.

Think they will ever come out with a lcd revvy that can do anything that the rico or halo can do? Where are the videos
"I've seen all the 16-18-20-22 bps videos" i wanna see em!

You haven't seen the halo vids? They're everywhere.

I found it funny when Weasel (from All A's, for those who don't know) was claiming how his sp halo was the shiz, never chops blah blah (sponsorship talks). So I flip off vision, crank out about 20 rounds, chop. Go me!

Here we go, the newbie (myself), is going to throw his two cents in and most likely will look like a total idiot. However, maybe I just have a slow trigger finger......but, my Halo is way better than I thought it would be after all of the talk I've heard around here and there.
I guess it is like this....you can find dirt on anything....but, you can also find an equal amount of success stories as well. You will hear good and bad. Just make the best educated decision that you can.
In my opinion....it has been flawless. Keep in mind though, "The Legend" has a sh*t load more experience than myself!!!!! I would trust his opinion all the way!!!!! I am just letting you know that I run one on my Impy and I am quite satisfied with it. Never a break (don't jinx me....please)!!!! I've been using it for about 3,000 rounds now and the only thing that breaks paint in my gun is the FSDO.
I am not new to paintball.....just my Impy !!

Well, you people who get all these chops, I really don't know what you're talking about. I personally have the older HALO. I have an Custom 98 with an RT, so I cranked the RT and jsut let them rip, not a break. But then again, I am sure all you can shoot faster then an RT, right....

And and we ALL know the amazing speed of the Tippmann Model 98 C. Man, I'm predicting a date soon that all the pro's will put down their Angels to run Model 98's.

i agree with drizzt..i was chopping like crazy with my 12vt revvy, and my gun dosen't have the vision board or any of that, i bought it before that came out. anyway, i was testing it out yesterday, went through a hopper or two, not one bust. it's faster than hell. i'd rip a few on the revvy: feed a few, skip, chop. way it went when i'd fire a short string. tried that on a halo, notta skip, notta bust (yet) hopefully i will not bust. but the only thing bad that i hated bout it, the neck. too wide. spent a long time sanding the thing down, amd right when i thought i had it, it was to find it's still to big. i tried to get it out, and pulled the feed tube right along with it and stripped the threads on my imp (the female threads on the body) last night. now, my gun is packaged heading it's way to PA for the smart parts factory. now what was a $100 hopper now turned in to $200 to pay the extra hundred for a new body :(..

Well he kinda ripped on people who had problems with the HALO so I gave him a tad taste. Perhaps a bit on the mean side but oh well......
On a side note, this is not my forum. I reported it but I can't really do anything about it.

I posted it in this forum because i wanna know how the halo works on an Impulse, not a different gun. People have said it chops more on certain guns than others, but i dont know. Maybe, could be because of the bolts, and feed designs.

Hep-
You try to throw in some sarcasm to make me look like an idiot. Yet you fail to realize the fact that I CAN shoot faster than an RT. Good job!

Ahhhhh jeez, it always has to come back to "easly take out sombody with an angel with my tippmann"....
When will you tippmann toting geeks realize that there is a reason that some guns cost more than 125.99?
Im not saying the gun makes the player, but that your game will probly improve after you fork out 600 bucks for a V-Sport Shocker with lots of goodies(gets here today!!! at 4:30!!! 5 hours and 20 minutes!!).

by the time you have upgraded the tippyman to shoot well it has cost you like 500$...the RT is not legal in NPPL etc events, so thats useless

So by buying that stuff, you are wasting your money and time installing all of it.
But Tippys arent bad guns. My friend had a 98c and he was very happy with it. Now he has a 2k2 impulse and he is in love with it. He went to sleep with his impulse in his arms and every day he kisses it.
What a sad sad boy

Avalon Gt -"Yes,we all do know the speed of the tippmann. Tippmanns arnt slow guns, get a RT,E-bolt then tell me the tippmanns are slow.I can easly take out sombody with an angel with my tippmann. "
Go buy an imp with a new board and compare it to the ebolt, then see whos slow...I have a custom and a impy, both are good but the impy wins by a mile (ill give the custom this, its just a Little more reliable).
So what if you can easily take out a kid with an angel, thats not the gun you killed, its the player.[

I know all the guys on tippmann, only ONE guy uses an electro kit. They took first place in Chicago using 2 stock A-5's (with new barrel), two manual 98's with double triggers and new barrels, and one e bolt 98. My friend won a 1 on 5 in the final game with his double trigger stock 98.
And Das, I saw it. :)

TheLegend,
No doubt brother.
I'm just saying that if they had a choice of what guns to use, do you think it would be Tippmanns?

Obviously no, I was just proving that the supergun isn't needed. I saw many fools get torn apart by the stock blowback, its fun to see them throw a fit.
