Make it kind and professional, like mine. Please do not use mine because then they may start to think it was all me, but like I said make it kind and professional and flame their competitors.
ESPN,
We in the paintball community want a television show dedicated to paintball, that dosen't have a complete show-in-show sponsor, and is not geared just toward the intermediate players. We found these problems after the Fox Sports Net aired their paintball show, Splatter Factor. It had one company that completely sponsored it and it was almost like an infomercial for that company's products. That company just happened to be geared toward newer players, and the more experiance ones were very dissapointed. They also had terrible hosts who tried to play the sex angle, and they were terrible at acting. We wish for a real show, one that covers major tournament, such as one in the NPPL circuit (www.nppl.com), which is arguably the largest tournament circuit in the world. We want a more proffessional show, that will have highlights from tournament and possibly something like the "match of the day", and have gear reviews. But we don't want it to evolve into an infomercial for one particular company's products. A "new player's corner" or something like that would also be good. We love our sport as just that, a sport, because paintball is not played in the woods by the majority anymore,it's played on concept fields in which you hide behind things while trying not to be marked and trying to mark your opponents. Please take a show such as this into consideration, and at least put together a few trial episodes to air and then check the ratings.
Thanks,
Will

Can I just copy and paste that?
Seriously. That is one of the best letters I've heard!

sent mine out ;)
Mine was very general, saying Splatter Factor's bad points, what's needed, and that ESPN could do a good job hosting that.

I'd prefer people not to copy/paste that, and to write their own so they don't start thinking it's all 1 person.
