Well here goes,

In short, spend less time on upgrades, and more on playing. Sure, slap on a new barrel, but don't over do it. Hosestly, what will help you more, expirince or equipment? Expirence, duh. With expireince, you can play better in the long run, but if you spend all your cash on your gun that you won't have long any way, you've gained nothing. If you spend 35 on paint instead of an x-chamber, learn how to snap shoot w/that paint, which is going to pay off? If you have queestions on this or anything, just post or PM me.

I agree. I've seen kids with Gen X's, Mag RT's, Timmy's and many other high tech markers, walk onto the field and get wasted by a seasoned player with a rental and storm off the field ticked off and wondering why. I played this sport for 3 years before I moved into the realm of semi's at all.

cockiness to a point where you are intimidating is good, but if you take it overboard than youll get nailed

Richy, you know what im saying!!! Finally someone who knows what im talking about! Ok, to explain my little outburst i must first tell you my brother is trying to trick out his Pro/Carbine. I must also clarify that hes played maybe 4 times. He wants to get an RT system, new barrel, stciky grips, expansion chamber, e-bolt etc (im not sure half that stuff can go on his gun). And i keep telling him he should PLAY more before he drops hundreds of dollars at once! He doesnt even need that stuff! We play maybe 2-3 times a month, were not in a tournament. Im glad you see it my way Rich.
