I went paintballing on Sunday and brought some marbs so I wouldn't have to buy field paint. Anyways, when playing a game of speedball I hit one opponent twice on separate occassions and the balls bounced off. I saw both balls hit, and one time saw the ball bounce off his chest or shoulder and fly six feet through the air before landing on the ground unbroken. Does this happen to anyone else? Is it common with all paint? I know most people love marbs and so do I except I have noticed from several games they don't always break. Do you think it was a old batch? or what?

There could have been many reasons why that could have happened.
1. bad batch
2. he was wearing a lot of padding or fat
3. just at that right angle where the ball would bounce instead of break
4. shooting very low.

there could be a bunch of reasons. But usually marbs are very good. I havent had that problem before.

marbs are hard as hell. I've put alot of bounces off. I'm looking into all-star paint but I thinks its LP paint

even if they are really hard, you peg someone 6 times with marbs they'll probably call themselves out weither they break or not ;)

'specially when you give them a burst from a reactive trigger, heh heh

damn trauma you must be fat as hell to have that many to bounce off your ***...
i usually dont have trouble with marbs either...
it might be that you have an old batch and isnt fresh anymore and when that happens, it gets softer and softer making it more prone to bouncing with its more flexibility

i remember one day a while ago, in the winter, i was running a gun on Co2, with a remote, and the other team was shooting marbs, and i was the last man left, (I tried to stay alive cuz my gun wasnt working),I also didnt know that i was the last man left (or i would of called myself out, if something goes wrong in a game i always like to draw fire for my team, lol),so they angled on me, I started running, and i got shot at least 40 times, because the pballs werent breaking, and right before i fell on the ground and started rolling around, i got shot one last time, and it broke on my remote. Ouch that hurt.

im sure that they didnt shoot you forty time, maybe twenty but forty is just too much for me to believe
besides, shooting fat guys and making them in more pain with marbs is even funner than shooting them with paint that breaks

You *******. How the hell is that funny? Inflicting pain on others is funny? You shouldn't call yourself a paintballer, only a moron enjoys hurting other people.
