View Full Version : wondering if low air causes leaks down barrel?

i was using co2 on mw old spyder, and i was wondering if low or next to none co2 causes leak down barrel? cuz thats what happened and i just wanted to know if it was normal.

I was also kind of wondering that. It's the cupseal that causes it. I just think that there is not enough pressure to seat the cupseal so it makes a small leak. Or something like that:crazy:

Err actually. Theres something wrong with your cupseal if it makes the sound when low on Co2. Ive had this problem on spyders before if you play around with your cup seal or get a new one it will never make that sound again. Well I cant say never it may occur again but just fix the cup seal around again. There IS a problem with it if it makes that noise at all.

Mine has leaked on me a couple times when I put a tank on that didn't have a lot in it. Then I put a fresh one on and it stopped. Who knows...cupseals are the devil:P

I had the same problem, a piece o the filter broke of and held the cup seal open, although yours may jus be worn out, yu said it was old , yur best bet is to use a brass cup seal
