i finally got an anti-syphon installed on my co2 and was just firing a few in the alley..and came across something that i'm unsure of. when i start rapid-firing, my reg will freeze up, along with the macroline and other fittings. is this supposed to happen with anti-syphon? or is it correctly installed? this would happen when you'd have a co2 tank w/out an anti-syphon tube installed. anybody answer the two questions for me?

could be that your Anti-syphon is installed wrong and that it only sucks up the Co2, Or the tank could have a mark on it - when screwed in, the mark should point up when holding the marker in the shooting positionng. Nost the time when buying a anti syphon tank with a on/off the on/ff has to be pointing up....

dont worry bout it.

mine did the same thing when i first started using it. i could barely stand how cold the reg would get. but the next weekend i played it didnt get near as cold, and hopefully this saturday it will get even better. but i dont think my macroline got very cold

it might just be that your tank is kind of going through a "break in" period, i dunno dont quote me on that one.

Really, if it's frosting up that fast, you need to check the alignment of your AS Tube. Another idea is to lower your dwell and raise your pressure a bit. That will use less co2 and slow the chilling process.

your AS might be off JUST a little....

This happens with co2, get gloves or move to somewhere warm.

on a more serious note you may want to check that your antisiphon is set properly
