500= 3 pounds and 1/4 oz.

my scale may not be accurate, but 1 pb weighs 0.1 oz

A case of 2000 pbs is 20 lbs. including the box... so you can divide that out...

using in trauma's #'s, i got .3205 oz/pb (160.25 oz/500pbs)
that's assuming there's 16 oz per lb:)

and ii's #'s, i got .16 oz/pb but that includes both the box and packing.

mine are off i put something way off when i typed it !!

he correct is
3lb and 1/4 oz.= 500 balls

My dad used to make custom rifles and cartridges so ive got a powder scale which goes to thousands of a gram, ill post my result later.
