impulse as a back players gun

im either going to get this or an autococker i need to know if this is as good as a back players gun as an autocockerr. I know it has a supposedly higher rate of fire but my freind can get his autococker up to 12 bps

an autococker would be fine for a back player, u need to spend a pretty penny on one though, um, i always thought of a impy as a front players gun....

An Impulse with out first shot drop would be a good back players gun.

Yea i agree with ritchy, a shocker is a true back gun though
Auto cocker for a back would have to be pretty tricked.
Spyder and tipman are diffenatly out.

If you don't have a whole lot to spend. Say, just enough to get an impulse, gas, and a hopper... Then get the impulse.

If you have a LOT of money, like over 700-800, then i'd get an aftermarket impulse (nasty, Toxic, RAT)

If you have boundless heaps of gold, then i'd get a really really really expensive autococker. In my opinion, i think cockers are only good once you drop a pound of $100 bills into one

i personally think that imps are excelent back players guns. get a barrel such as a freak and you will have no problems using even a stock imp. i think that an autococker could be better but that unless you spent a ridiculous amount of money on one you wouldn't beat an impulse.

so what if your friend can do 12bps on his cocker, the new imps and vision imps can do 19.5 bps, sure you won't be able to do that in a game, but you will be able to shoot at speeds faster than 12bps after you get used to the trigger

you could get a Werm Undertow bolt. that would give you more range. and you would probably not have any problems with range.

The bolt is supposed to apply the air so it will give the ball backspin supposed to give tighter groupings at longer ranges but I dont know if it helps with actual total range

Yea it puts back skin on the ball which gives it better acuracy at long ranges but not a longer range.

No he can't.

ROF's are so blown out of proportion. I rip on all my guns, shooting with a guy from the fields recorder (used with firearms to record shots per minute, it isnt some cheap toy) the fastest I hit with my matrix was 13. When I walked the trigger I hit 16(what my rof is set to). You can't tell me a cocker is faster than a matrix.

I used an autococker this sunday for the day and I hated it... It was just a stock black magic but still. I think if you have a nice cocker and are good with it then your cocker is the best gun on the field but I couldnt get the ROF up enough and the accuracy wasnt great ... If you're a true back player get a shocker or a TRICKED cocker.. like 1000+ into it... But I usually play snake or center 50 so impulse is for me...

Ick... flatline. You've obviously never tried to shoot fast with one... gives new meaning to "spray and pray". LOTS of spray if ya know what I mean. Besides, flatlines are the most inaccurate barrels I've ever seen.
