Hmmm.....Em1.....that's a joke alright. Any electric takes ALOT of skill.....skill that is not to outshoot your supply. lol. I love pump guns, they take skill cause you have to aim your shots or basically you lose.

Ah, sorry for the blatent newbism... *just realizes there is a newbie forum* I've been playing paintball on and off for the last two years as a rare treat (eg: once every two-three months), but I wanna pick it up as a regular, weekly hobby.
This probably came up before in a previous thread, and for my lack of attention, I apologize again, but is there any thing, outside the actual playing field, that myself or any other new player shold be aware of? Eg; what type of gun is better, what brand/make is better, nominclature, etc. etc.

Eh, they're alright guns. Not the best IMO, but I wouldnt say it'd be hard to make it through a game using one.

most guns are pretty easy to use all you do is cock it and pull the trigger

it depends on what type of skill. all the best players at my field use tippmann98's......it doesnt matter what gun, its the player. i think if you learn to play and get good on a certain gun, you will be best on that gun. but another way, i think it required mechanical skil to own a high tech electro. those guns need constant care and work. unlike guns like tippmanns, which the only work you will ever need is oiling the linkage arm, front bolt, and rear bolt
